Pro-Taliban Politician Detained By American Authorities

Pakistan's Cricketer-Turned-Poiltician Imran Khan was detained Friday night by the U.S. authorities at Canadian airport before his flight to U.S.. It is said to be for his pro-Taliban, pro-Afghan-jihad, and anti-drone views. 

Mr. Khan later tweeted;

Imran Khan's visit to Canada and the U.S. is to raise funds for his radical rightwing political party, Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf. Khan and his party has also held an anti-drone march earlier this month. Where he described the Afghan-Taliban as fighting legitimate jihad against the U.S. and drones attacks against Taliban illegal. He also made anti-christian and anti-semetic statements to attack his political opponents. 

Khan stated; 

"Listen Maulana, you said Jews and Christians are joining the PTI march, but in your presence and Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, there is no need for any Jew or Christian, as you three are worst than (every one of) them (combined)...you have proved (this) by your policies" - [Business Recorder]

Some have stated "money laundering" to be the reason of his detention.
