The answer to that question is this document, Political Parties Order 2002: As Imran Khan's political party openly runs fund raising campaigns around the world, without any mechanism of identifying the citizenship of its donors. This jeopardizes the legality of those funds and in turn of the whole political party. Here's a registration document for the PTI USA LLC, which is registered as a foreign agent in U.S.A. to collect funds on behalf of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf.
